Gina Mazzoni truly is a woman who ‘lives’ her brand. Having been a personal and group fitness trainer in Ballito for more than 18 years, Gina brings enthusiasm, expertise and fun to every one of her Gina G fitness classes.
Born in Durban (with a French-Mauritian background), Gina grew up on the North Coast and has always been sporty and health-focussed. She is a mother of two and is married to Graham. It was after her second child was born that Gina decided to follow her passion and become a fitness instructor, and she has never looked back.
Gina qualified as both a personal fitness trainer and a group aerobic fitness trainer through the Exercise Teacher’s Academy in 2005. She started training clients at a local, well-known gym called The Lockeroom, and then a number of other gyms after that. She started her Gina G fitness classes eight years ago and says she absolutely loves what she does now.
Her high-energy classes focus on building strength, endurance and fitness, and no two classes are ever the same. “From upper-and-lower body work to cardio and core training, you can expect to feel the burn and see the results after every one of my group classes,” she says. Always aiming to educate her clients, Gina takes the time to ensure that every client understands why they are doing each different exercise and makes certain that they are executing them using the correct posture and technique for maximum results. She offers kind and careful guidance, including nutrition advice and education. “Nutrition plays a huge role in your health and fitness journey”, she advises. “Watch your portion control and try change your lifestyle rather than doing fad diets!” Gina is enthusiastic about seeing her clients get the results they are hoping for on their health and fitness journeys.

 

With over 16 years of experience in this industry, well-known Ballito personal trainer, Gina Mazzoni brings her group and personal training to FITPOD. Her classes are designed for strength, fitness and flexibility for a great body and mind.
